Check the forum to make sure the server isn't down for an update. Turn off your firewall. If you've done all that and still get the error then you need a personal serial reset. This is quite difficult and is separate from the Global resets done on Saturday between 9am and 11pm CST. To have your personal serial reset early you'll need to send a PM (personal message) to Maz and send $10.00 via Paypal to the MSX subscription address, bostondan2@gmail.com. If you'd rather wait until the globals are done, please wait until Sunday morning before asking "Is it done yet?". Remember, Mist only runs on one computer. If you try to run it on more than one it will get mad and kill you in your sleep.
