| his is a common problem with BF2 and 2142 usually stemming from the way the Battlefield series utilizes dual cores.
To solve this problem simply start the game then ALT-TAB out of it. Now right click on the taskbar and choose Task Manager. Click the Processes tab. Find BF2 or BF2142, whichever you're trying to play. Right click the game and choose Affinity. Uncheck CPU0. Click on OK. Close the Task Manager. Click on the game on the taskbar and play. It can also be due to punkbuster not being updated automatically properly. |
